VE303 is a defined bacterial consortium that originates from human stools and is produced from clonal cell banks.
It consists of 8 well-characterized Clostridioides strains (including 5 strains from Clostridia cluster XIVa, 2 strains from cluster IV, and 1 strain from cluster XVII) that are considered commensal and do not produce toxins and is developed by Vedanta Biosciences
