iNOS / Nitric Oxide Synthases (NOSs)

There are three isoforms of NOS, two of which - endothelial (eNOS) (Garthwaite et al. 1988 Nature 336: 385-388; Raman et al. 1998 Cell 95: 939-950) and neuronal (nNOS) (O’Dell et al. 1994 Science 265: 542-546; Iwai et al. 1995 Hypertension 25: 431-436; Bec et al. 1998 J.
