The highest Butyrate / Butyric acid concentrations were found in the caecum (26.1 nmol/kg contents), in the ascending colon (24.5 nmol/kg contents), and in the transverse colon (24.4 nmol/kg contents). The lowest ones are in the ileum (2.3 nmol/kg contents).
