TLR-1/2 is a heterodimer of TLR-1 and TLR-2 formed upon binding of a ligand to TLR-1 and TLR-2, respectively. It is localized on cell membranes.

TLR-1:2 heterodimer

The dimerization of TLR-1 and TLR-2 brings the cytoplasmic TIR (Toll IL-1 receptor) domain (closed rectangles) of the TLR chains into close proximity to initiate signaling.
