Caspase recruitment domain-containing protein 8 (CARD8) is a protein belonging to the Caspase recruitment domain (CARD)-containing family . This protein is involved in pathways leading to the activation of caspases or nuclear factor kappa-B (NFKB). It has been implicated as a co-regulator of several pro-inflammatory and apoptotic signaling pathways.
