meRfi® Microbiome can be tried out for free for up to 24 hours. After the first 30 minutes, you will be asked to register with just your email and password to continue your session. No credit card is required — your access is completely obligation-free during and after the trial.
How can I pay for a subscription?
You can pay your subscription via credit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express — as well as most other major credit and debit cards.
Do you offer other payment options?
We also offer payments via Klarna. Klarna offers a wide variety of additional payment options depending on your country of residence.
Do I receive a tax-deductible invoice?

Are my prompts and chats shared with third parties or used to train AI models?
No. Our AI chat runs entirely on our own servers. Your prompts and chats are never shared with third parties, sold, or used to train any AI models. All conversations remain private and under your control.
How does the AI chat work?
Our AI chat uses a two-step approach: RAG (vector search) to find relevant content, followed by GraphRAG (knowledge-graph query) to connect concepts and provide contextualized answers. This combination reduces hallucinations and delivers more accurate, logically connected responses.
Can I trust the AI's answers?
Every AI-generated response is grounded in the curated content of meRfi® Microbiome, and key claims are traceable back to the underlying studies and references. We always recommend verifying critical information with the primary literature.
Does the AI have access to the full internet or external sources?
No. The AI is trained to answer questions using only the content within meRfi® Microbiome. It does not browse the internet or pull in unverified external sources.
How often is the content updated?
meRfi® Microbiome is continuously curated and updated to reflect the latest research in gut microbiota, probiotics, prebiotics, and FMT. New studies, references, and keyword entries are added as the field evolves.
How many sources and keywords are included?
The platform contains over 600,000 pages of content, more than 44,000 keywords, and over 22,000 referenced studies.
Can I access the original scientific literature referenced in the platform?
Yes. Entries include links to the original studies (authors, titles, journals), allowing you to verify the information and explore the primary literature directly.
What do I need to access meRfi® Microbiome?
All you need is a modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and an internet connection. meRfi® Microbiome runs on Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices.
Can I use meRfi® Microbiome on multiple devices?
Yes. Your account and all content are cloud-based, so you can seamlessly switch between devices without losing your place or data.
Can I share my account with colleagues?

Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes. Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time before the next billing date — you'll retain access until the end of your paid period. Yearly subscriptions can also be cancelled; contact support for details.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
If you cancel, your account remains accessible until the end of your current subscription period. After that, your data is retained for a limited period in case you resubscribe. Please contact support for our full data retention policy.
Do you offer refunds?
Due to the nature of digital content, we generally do not offer refunds once a billing period has started. If you have concerns, please contact our support team.
